Unitrex Trader Workstation
WFS introduced Unitrex to the UIT world in
March of 1999 when our first client Gruntal, went live. Unitrex
is our cornerstone product that provides UIT inventory management,
trade entry, pricing and end of day processes to the Broker / Dealer
/ Sponsor community.
WFS hosts the UIT Pricing Forum, an internet based pricing service
that feeds Unitrex directly with end of day Sponsor prices.
Current clients include: Gruntal, CIBC Oppenheimer, Wheat First
Union, Fidelity, Reich & Tang, Pershing, Nathan & Lewis, Southwest
Securities and Nuveen.
Since the advent of Unitrex, WFS has programmed many additional
features and subsystems, including:
- is a Browser based UIT order entry system that posts trades directly
into a Dealer desk via the Internet / secure WAN intranet connection.
- is an enhancement of Unitrex Trader Workstation
to handle proceed trades.
- works very similarly to trade capture, where
the client produces a file (stock record) of holders that Unitrex
imports and creates rollover indication trades. On rollover date,
another process is run to calculate the proceeds of the terminating
trust and to calculate the equivalent roll units.
- is an enhancement built into the Trader Workstation.
- is a standard program to automatically create
UIT trades in Unitrex based on receiving a detail trade file from
an external system.
- feeds trades directly into the Unitrex system
via a standard comma delineated file matching our specifications.
